At Local Warmth, we make our own kindling by splitting dry, seasoned softwood to create high-quality sticks that help your fire light quickly and easily. Softwood is ideal for kindling because it’s naturally rich in resins and lighter in density—producing a fast, fierce flame that’s perfect for getting your main fuel logs burning.

Our kindling is made from locally grown, naturally seasoned softwood, including Scots pine, Corsican pine, and larch. Each stick is a consistent 15–25cm long and approximately 1.3–4.5cm wide, seasoned for 8 to 18 months for dependable performance.

Delivered in a net bag measuring roughly 50cm x 30cm x 25cm. Bag style may vary, but the volume remains the same.
