Our air-dried logs are 100% hardwood, chosen for a longer, hotter burn than softwood (though slightly less intense than kiln-dried). Each bag typically contains a natural mix of oak, ash, sycamore, beech, and silver birch, air-dried over two seasons to bring out that classic wood-burning aroma.

With an average moisture content of 25%–30%, these logs light easily, produce minimal smoke, and deliver dependable heat. For best performance, you may wish to let the logs dry a little further indoors before use.

Oak and beech are denser hardwoods, so they can take a little longer to catch—but they’ll reward you with a longer-lasting burn.
