Kiln-Dried 9″ Logs

At Local Warmth, our kiln-dried firewood is made for people who want the best possible burn quality and maximum heat output. Unlike unseasoned or standard seasoned wood, our kiln-drying process removes most of the moisture for you, reducing the average moisture content to around 12%–20%. That means your logs light faster, burn hotter, and deliver a cleaner, more efficient fire.

Because kiln-dried logs contain far less water, you get more heat from fewer logs. In fact, 10 kiln-dried logs can produce a similar heat output to around 33 unseasoned logs, helping you use roughly one-third of the wood for the same warmth—excellent value for money.

All Local Warmth kiln-dried logs are UK-sourced hardwood, known to burn longer and produce more heat than softwood. Each load is typically a premium mix of oak, ash, beech, and silver birch, releasing a beautiful, natural wood aroma as it burns.
